Worth it.

I bought this thinking I would use it twice and forget about it. I have ended up using it almost every evening. What sold me was how little effort it takes: I press one button, the page appears on the ceiling, and I am reading within about ten seconds. I have tried propping a tablet on a pillow before and it always slid off or the angle was wrong. This just sits on the nightstand and points where I tell it to. My partner was sceptical for about a week and now asks me to set it up on his side too.

I am not very good with tech and I still set it up without any trouble. The HDMI connection was straightforward.

Good, but the cable is short.

I love how easy it is to change the angle. I can project higher up the wall while lying down. The hinge holds its position and does not sag overnight, which was my worry after reading about cheaper ones. I have moved it between two rooms a dozen times and it still lands where I point it.

I was not sure if I would need separate speakers, but for reading the built-in one is perfectly fine.

I use mine mostly at night and the brightness is more than enough. I prefer the room dim, it feels cozy.

It is fine. The image is decent but I expected a bit more brightness for the price. In a room with any daylight you will not see much, so it is an evening device only. For what I paid I am not upset, but I would not call it a lamp replacement either.

Reading on the ceiling is a different experience entirely. I did not expect to like it as much as I do, and I have recommended it to three people already. My mother has arthritis and holding a paperback open for an hour was becoming genuinely painful for her. She has been using hers every night for a month.

The remote is small but it does everything I need. I keep it on the bedside table.

I have back problems and holding a book up was uncomfortable. This solved a problem I had honestly given up on solving. I read for about an hour most nights now and I get up without the stiffness in my shoulders I used to have. It sounds dramatic for a projector but it changed my evenings.

Nice product. In a bright room you do lose some contrast, so I mostly use it in the evening.

Better than expected.

Took it camping, ran it off a power bank, and read in the tent. Did not expect that to work as well as it did.

Easy to focus.

I was worried the words would not be sharp enough to actually read, but I was surprised by how clear everything looks. I can make the text much bigger and still read comfortably from bed, which is really the whole reason I bought it in the first place.

Gave one as a gift and immediately ordered a second for myself. That is probably the best review I can give.

Happy with it. Took a couple of evenings to find my preferred setup but now it is part of the routine.

No regrets at all.
